= Introductions =
Greetings everyone from the members of the Astrophobia Management team!

We are still as ecstatic as ever over the impact Astrophobia has had on you all. It's been a long journey since we launched November 3<sup>rd</sup> 2023, and we're still blown away by how many people continually log in day after day. From the management team, sincerely, we are grateful to have a thriving community filled with amazing and creative players. Anyway, let's get to business! 

== Drones ==
One of the new additions for this content update we're excited to release is drones! We've introduced a new trait, [https://wiki.astrophobiarp.net/Standard_Traits_List#Drone_Operator Drone Operator], which allows your character to control a drone. Drones are small robotic devices controlled by their operators to undertake any commands issued. It takes an action to issue a command to the drone, and at the end of the drone operator's turn the drone will attempt to accomplish these actions. There are 5 drones being added:

* The drone gains the '''Quick Shot''', '''Onslaught''', and '''Die Hard''' traits.

* 1 Heavy Ranged weapon
* The drone gains the '''Marksman''', '''Sniper''', and '''Resolute''' traits.

== Species Traits ==
Since the last content update, we've had a keen eye on major feedback given by the players on the previous round of species trait updates. The biggest feedback has been surrounding the Android and Astral traits, which will be receiving another rework for this content update. 

=== Androids ===
The [[androids]] base trait isn't changing from its current wording, however it is being expanded! Androids will now be able to choose one of the following models at character creation:

* '''Combat Model:''' You gain an additional weapon category proficiency and one mastered weapon within this category. Additionally, you gain the benefits of the Resolute trait.
* '''Labour Model:''' You gain the benefits of the Tough and Super Strength traits.
* '''Stealth Model:''' You gain the benefits of the Sneaky and Fleet of Foot traits.
* '''Research Model:''' You gain the benefits of the Educated and Xeno Hunter traits.
* '''Entertainment Model:''' You gain the benefits of the Charismatic and Jack of All Trades traits.

For currently existing Androids, if you choose a model that grants you traits you already have, you can freely swap them out during the next two weeks for other traits. We hope having these Models will provide more variety for Android players!

=== Astrals ===
[[Astrals]] are getting a big healing buff! Astrals will now be able to perform their healing test once per turn instead of once per day, the test is being increased to a 3d6, and it will be able to also target Androids as healing recipients. 

== Aalinhybrids ==
We're adding <s>furries</s> [[Aalinhybrids]]! Aalinhybrids are artificially created variants of Aalindari originally designed to support terraforming projects across Aalindari space. These hybrids have went on to form their own unique culture, being regarded by many as a unique sister species to the non hybrid Aalindari. 

If you want to convert your existing Aalindari into an Aalinhybrid, you can run the following command:
