The government of the Aalindari is a unique and decentralized form of governance. The Aalindari government is known as the "Eternal of the Aalindari." This government is designed to promote individual freedom, equality, and the pursuit of genetic advancement for the Aalindari.
History
Hailing from the Aalindar system, the Aalindari were the first known species to enter the galactic expansion phase of their civilization. With their advantage of being the first along with eternal life they have a leg up on many of the races. With their deep knowledge of Genetics, most of the internal struggle within the Aalindari domain has been quelled by the Eternal. For centuries they have lived in peace with a constant pursuit for knowledge.
Government and Politics
The heart of the Aalindari government is a network of Genetic Councils that are responsible for overseeing and regulating genetic modifications. These councils are composed of individuals with a deep understanding of genetic science. They ensure that genetic modifications are made
safely and responsibly, preventing any adverse consequences for the Aalindari.
The Aalindari government is highly decentralized, with each Genetic Council operating independently in various cities and regions throughout the Aalindar systems. These councils have considerable autonomy in managing local affairs and regulating genetic experimentation within their jurisdiction. The Eternal of the Aalindar keeps a distanced relationship with the other species and races. They only show interest when they have a need for the other races as test subjects for their Genetic modifications as they view all other forms of life as lessers it can be a way to get around the ethical concerns of extreme genetic modifications and testing on fellow Aalindari
Ideology and lifestyle
Aalindari value the freedom to modify their own bodies and genetics according to their preferences, as long as they adhere to ethical and cultural guidelines set by the Genetic Councils. There is a strong emphasis on personal autonomy and individual choice in this regard within the bounds set by the “Eternal of the Aalindar”
As Aalindari live forever they are free to explore and roam the realm in pursuit of knowledge and discovery. There is a great superiority complex from being the so-called “first” of the spacefaring races and has led to many a dispute as Aalindari outside of their own are considered pompous
Societal Structure
Aalindari do not experience natural aging or death due to their mastery of gene modification. Therefore, the leadership within each Genetic Council consists of individuals who have demonstrated expertise and a commitment to the betterment of their society over an extended period. These positions are held for life and are rarely rescinded.
